During
the product design process we can analyze the technical characteristics
that the product has to fulfill which significantly shortens the time
required for the development of a new product. After performing
kinematic and dynamic analyzes of the product it is desirable to
perform an optimization analyzes in wich material is removed from the
product at less stressed parts in order to reduce the product's mass
while maintaining the required functions. By combining the basic CAD
design tool Creo Parametric with open source programs for calculations
and analysis such as SMath, Calculix, Z88 Arion and OpenFoam, we are
able to realize products regardless of their complexity.
